Dog looking for new Home

Postby zer0nz » Thu Aug 11, 2011 4:29 pm

Hi, My names paul, im a 3 year old Irish Setter crossed with a Boxer, Im currently living in lo barnechea, santiago

I need a new home because my family have lost there house to the bank so i have no where to live as of next weekend,

As im a big dog i need somewhere with some room to run around, but am use to living in the city,

I would make a good gaurd dog as i like to bark at things, but i do know when to shut up when im told,

Im probably not too good around small children, but bigger children probably fine, or i could be trained,

Im a bit rough around the edges so need a bit of training, but i am gentle and will never cause anyone harm, (im not house trained completely, i still think its fine to pee inside)

If you would like to adpot me you can message my friend zer0nz on this fourm,

Thanks
Paul

p.d if you live out of Santiago im willing to travel to a new home!

A setter crossed with a box. Didn't mom and dad's genetic codes explode on contact?

Pretty result however. Kind of hound looking.

he is a very pretty cool dog, everyone stops to pat him when i take him for a walk, i would love to keep him, but he wont fit in a apartment,

i i had it my way we would be moving to the south of the city, but my gfs sisters need to live close to metro/work in the city, so i hope we can find a nice home for him!

Me too, but with 3 dogs and 4 cats + rescue cat gato, we are over capacity as it is. Have you tried publishing him on Mismascotas and Club de Mascotas Bayer? Also, if you have a flyer made up with contact info, I could pass it on to my neighbors. They know a lot of people that help rehome dogs and the husband works at a vet clinic so they have a bulletin board for that sort of thing.

Hello All,

Unfortunately the new home for our dog fell through, we found some great people but due to problems out of there control they were not able to take paul,

We have very very very temporary accommodation for paul at the moment probably for about another week or so,

We would love to find a caring family to look after him, or we would be willing to pay someone per month over the next 8 months to look after him until we have found and brought a house/parcela

We have learnt some things about paul over the last couple of weeks

He is very strong and can break out of places, he needs somewhere secure to live (or somewhere large enough he doesn't need to break out)
He doesn't like to be alone, he has lived with other dogs all his life, so he really needs to go to a family with another dog to be friends with. if he is alone he crys....
He loves being with people and being your right hand dog......

If anyone outside of the Santiago area can help we have no problem driving the length of the country.....

I can be reached by PM or just post a reply and ill make contact,

Thanks very much!
