Filling in tourist visa form

Postby cosbo » Mon Jul 18, 2011 6:02 pm

Hi,
I am moving out to Chile from the UK for about 18 months in a couple of weeks. My boyfriend has been working out there for a few months and I am heading out to join him. I just want to clarify a few things about filling in the tourist visa form on the plane to avoid any hassle. I will be entering on a tourist visa but have a job lined up and hop to get my contract and things sorted soon after arriving. I just wanted to check what was the best thing to write on the form in terms of the return date. Can I just pick a date 90 days from my arrival, despite the fact that my return ticket is for nest year?
Thank you for any help or advice you can offer.

there is no return date on the form....

IF by some strange reason they start caring and ask you, your back packing around south america for x amount of time :), but there is nothing to put dates on the form
Plan N....... Back On track

Make sure you have a valid credit card to show the airline and in the extremely rarest of circumstances, Chile passport control.
