Hi all,
If anyone could give me some relevant information or help on my case would be highly appreciated.
My background: I hold a degree MSC in Civil Engineering and also a MSC in Business Administration (Management and Organization). I worked in my home country, Hungary, for 4 years, later I moved to the United Kingdom and for 2 and a half years worked for one of the biggest consultant on some remarkable international projects (mainly long span bridges and underground station design projects). I chartered as a Civil Engineer with ICE which has the highest international reputation.
My mission: is to stay in Latin America to learn from the experience of getting along, living and enjoy the life in a different continent. Last October I gave up my job in London in order to learn Spanish and move to Latin America. More than half year went on building up a basic Spanish and after I cycled from Mexico to Guatemala to get the most of it:). Right now I am in Guatemala working hard on improving my language skills.
My goal: is to find a relevant job to my background and skills and stay in Chile for couple of years. I am looking for an opportunity where my experience in the construction industry, the carried out magnificent international projects and my interest in the field of business administration are together helpful for the company.
My strategy: my Spanish is getting close to sit on interviews so from September I am planning to fly to Chile for a 2 weeks or so for the hoped interviews. Not long before that I will send my CV around to the targeted companies and agencies. Working visa fortunately is not a problem.
Would be helpful:
- any comments on how to find job in Santiago or other cities in Chile

construction sector,
real estate or
transportation sector
because of their size, international background or any other things related
- local websites and agencies or the companies that active for job hunting in Chile
- other forum threads that deal with the same topic
- ooor really anything that comes to your mind:)

Attila Fustos
