Just a warning, there are lots of warnings in NZ of this type of scam... this may not be a scam, but it may also be one, so if they stat asking you to buy stuff with your own money then pay you back, stay away

Well-known scam in the US and Canada, also. They send you a phony cashier’s check for an amount well over what you spend, then they ask you to reimburse them for the overpaid amount. Problem is that the check takes a while to be authenticated, then it turns out to be bogus, but by then, you sent good money back.

I’m surprised the Admin has let it get this far. His rooster must have overslept.

If they’re legit, they should send you good money in advance.

I’m not gonna bother with your site, but I do have a simple question for you: Do you ask “field associates” to send you money in any way, shape or form at all? If you do not have a straightforward answered limited to yes or no, then I think it behooves people to forget about you. If the answer is yes, then you have a lot of “splaining” to do.

I have not cut it, because my curiosity is killing me to find out if they are for real in Chile. They do not set off the any red flags as far as scams on the internet.

I am a little curious about what companies are using a secret shopper in Chile, because the information sure does not seem to reach management.

They at least seem legit based on some quick googling..... Were I in CHile I would maybe give them a go. Have to wonder how much personal info I would give though.....
A friend of mine did the mystery shopper thing on the side in Canada here awhile ago. It did not involve buying product she did not want and then being reimbursed unless it was small incidental stuff (coffee at a chain, etc.). Obviously if someone mystery shops for a refrigerator and thinks that they are going to get reimbursed and that the mystery shopping company will make money then they are way too gullible.

They do for me...anybody offering money for something that isn't really even work in a foreign country sets off just about every red flag I've got. I'm surprised their post hasn't been deleted yet.

How about to get some credibility both these company's give some examples of what the assignments are and who your clients are and how many assignments have been completed in chile previously.................

I think due to the nature of the business, confidentiality for the companies employing their services is a must.

O.k., broke my own rule and all the spammers started coming out of the woodwork. They are all banned. Back to brining down the sledgehammer on the first sign of anything that even smells slightly spammy.

You know, Lider was recently purchased by WalMart, and I can already tell that they're starting to bring the American model in. I'd believe that they want secret shoppers before I'd believe that any other vendor does.

Well I filled in their online form as I´ve done this stuff before checking out restaurants for another outfit, and all went well. They didn´t ask for much info at all. They acknowledged receipt of the application and said that a member of their staff would be checking my details and send my login password in about 10 days. I´ll let you know if anything further happens.
