WHy is it so hard for anyone to believe, in light of what has happened in the last few years in the US and world with banks and big corporations, that a multinational would evade taxes.

Expropriation is one thing. Prosecution of a company gaming the system is something different. Cargill is after all a company that has employed child labour in the past in certain parts of the world.

Until the facts come out, I would hardly classify this as a theft of funds.
