Welcome to Latin America man. You finally got here :D Sounds like nobody has a whole lot of energy anymore in Santiago... understandable given the temperatures.

Where do you plan to go to next?
You are disturbing me. I am picking mushrooms.

Thanks. I return my daughter to Oz tomorrow, finish a financial/legal reorganisation there for a couple of weeks, then return to Santiago to live with my polola and apply for residency.

.
I think that some people are beginning to recognise just how latinamerican the protests have been. The Leftists think they're getting a chance for another Russian Revolution, and when it's all over they just have the ashes of another Watts Riots, and lower PSE scores.

There have been micro-protests downtown for the last several days. There are mostly small groups of student-like persons, about 30 at a time causing small fires and provoking the police with rocks and other objects to the point of being shot by the gas bombs. They are not causing any major shut downs of streets in my area, but it sure is making the air unbearable and it is certainly disrupting my families daily routine.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.
