Re: school question (for the kiddos)

Hi,
I'm new to this thread and enjoyed the information. Our family is also considering a move to Santiago but we would only be staying 1-2 years. I'd like my sons (ages 10 and 8) at the time to be able to learn Spanish first and offset by English. Nido sounds like a great school in general but not for us to be immersed in Spanish. It would be helpful to have English back up. Can this group tell me the best places for this. I have many names of schools but not sure which ones will really get the kids immersed in Spanish but have English as well. Of course, the kids will need to get in as well which could be a problem. Thanks for any advice.

You might look at Saint Gabriels in Providencia http://www.sangabriel.cl. I know a few families there and they seem to like it.

Thank you Kathi. Do you know if these families are English speakers at home and if their kids are learning Spanish easily there? Thanks for the info!

Revarding tuition: Beware of the incorporation fee. The costs quoted on this thread seemed to be for tuition only.
We agree to disagree.
