Hello one and all...

Postby PenquistaDeCorazon » Sat Nov 13, 2010 2:08 am

My name is Humberto, and I was born in Concepcion. I also lived in Coihaique as a child and miss it every day. I am presently living in Canada but travel back every year for a couple of months. Trips back are usually based out of Santiago and I am always on the lookout for ethnic restaurants. Hard to compete with Canada on that front though as we have one of the best Thai restaurants in the whole country where I live. Stumbled on to this site, and it seemed kind of interesting to see the different experiences that people have had living in Chile.

Hey thanks for the welcome. And thanks for the site. It is an invaluable service. I am in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. used to be a little backwater of a place but now with potash prices what they are we are like the Beverly Hillbillies in this province.

Came here when I was 9 in '75. Kind of caught between two worlds here. Wanting to move back to Chile at some point (for half the year in any case) and sites like this are a big help.

Glad to know you are in Saskatchewan. I lived there 5 years, at Saskatoon.

Gotta love Saskatoon. I received my engineering degree at the U of S so I know it well. It is growing so fast these days. Rush hour can be as much as an hour some days which for Saskatoon is pretty long.

Rush hour in Saskatoon? Hard to believe. I was there at late 80s and early 90s, though.
