Re: Iphone/Ipad

If I may take the ipad topic a little off...
Two nights ago I was surfing the "portalinmobiliario" website on my iPad (wifi) during a storm and since then I am having trouble logging on to that site via the iPad. I get a pop up stating that "the website is no longer responding"
When I log on to that same website with my iPhone (3G) From the same physical location I have no problems.
Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Thanks in advance..

Our iPad 3G works fine...

I was going to ask "why on earth not"? Apart from the physical size of the SIM, which can be fixed with a scissors and a steady hand (or there are tailor-made SIM cutters available as well  ), I don't see why you should have a problem.

You tried resetting Safari? (i.e. clearing the history, emptying the cache, etc)... Safari is not my favourite browser, even though I'm a Mac owner, but I'm not sure offhand what other options you have on an iPad. And other websites on the iPad are fine? (Apple's WiFi implementations suck monumentally, it's almost the only negative experience I've had with their products).

I imagine portalinmobiliario is a flash-heavy website... what does it do to your battery consumption? Flash is a nightmare on my macbook... instant CPU consumption of 90%, just reading bbc.co.uk and the Huff Post, nothing more
You are disturbing me. I am picking mushrooms.
