Yea, I had a good look at this one. Could not find the hidden link or whatever, so I let it stand until proven otherwise even though it smells like spam. A little more info or posting might let us make a better determination about the OP's intent.

Still, my money is on a pile of warm spam a few months from now.

onlinebusiness,

You are going to need to tell us a bit more about yourself, and why you are here than just that.

We call it the Chile Forum Turing test (i.e. prove you are not a bot).

Mr. Wang:

As it is said in the Lin Yutang's translation of the Chuang-tzu,

"... If there is not sufficient depth, water will not float large ships ... So with air. If there is not sufficient a depth, it cannot support large wings ..."

You know, this forum is way too small place for promoting/supporting an online business.. There is not sufficient depth here..

So, dear onlinebusiness:

As it can be easily seen, should you ever try to start "promoting" your business here -- chances are that your account will disappear from this forum quite soon. Yet, I have a good advice for you. Post a good Chinese story here, that must be not very long (so both the Admin, and the other moderator, eeuu, would read without spending much time), and it should be interesting, educating, apply to the current topic, and both the Admin, and the other moderator, eeuu, must laugh when reading it.

If they both read your story, and laugh, then chances are your account will stay here for one more day. This is my belief.

Thus, every other day. We love good stories. However, we don't like bad stories, so be careful!..

Are we voting? I'm not seeing any spam, so if Onlinebusiness wants to hang out with us and learn about Chile or practice his English, let him.

He's been told that if he advertises or sends spam, he will be removed. If he wants to visit without advertising, well, there are several persons with businesses on this forum who are good forum members.

Onlinebusiness, just a warning, you will not be permitted to post any links until you are well established. No one is allowed to do any advertising. I believe that the forum owner does not permit any back links, although, you'd have to verify that with him.

check the link on his profile.... is that not spam?, certainly not a personal website!, nor a website of someone who is actively constructing a business in in chile, or intends to move to chile..., maybe is a business that wants to make money off people living in chile?

eeuu, remove his links and don't allow him to post any new ones. If his only purpose is to spam, he will go away because he is not getting anything from being here. He will wander off in search of a forum that is less diligent

If he wants to become a forum member and hang out and learn about Chile, he will stay and not post any links.

He's been warned about the rules, so if he breaks them again, he can be banned.

And I'd like to send you a huge thank you for your successful efforts to keep this forum spam free. It's one of the reasons this forum is enjoyable. Your work is not going unnoticed nor unappreciated.

The members here either already live in Chile or are contemplating living there. You do not seem to fit in either camp. You appear to be here in order to promote your business, what ever that may be. That seems to fit the definition of a spammer. Someone who insists on promoting a product that no one appears to need or want.

I am curious, other than to promote your business, why are you here, and posting so much? :?: :?:

I learn about Chile, and other members lives there by reading much, and posting little. If you really are here to learn about Chile, read a lot here, and Google is your friend.

Attn admin Charles...... look at this guys website, he sells electronics, clothing and exersize equipment and more. He has been very forthright in saying that he is here to promote his business. He does not ask about Chile, or about being an expat. He is here solely to promote his business. He does not have a hidden link, because he is being VERY obvious. onlinebusiness sells stuff on his posted WEBSITE.

I also follow a website that covers the Chevrolet Corvair and its repair. A SPAMMER puts on ads there about purses and handbags, no doubt made in China. He is not welcome in the Corvair website, and Mr onlinebusness is doing the same thing here.....
