Spencer Global is AWESOME!!!

Postby jimmymourra » Mon Aug 30, 2010 7:21 pm

I am new in Chile and before arriving in Chile I contacted Charles Spencer from Spencer Global. He was very helpful, told me exactly what to do. I listened and followed his instructions. We filled out the application, collected the necessary documents for my periodic income visa application and mailed it end of May, 2010. On June 22, 2010 I received my Visa en Tramite documents and my work permit. Today, August 30th 2010, I received an approval letter and will have my passport stamped tomorrow for the Residencia Temporal! THANK YOU CHARLES!!!

Happy to help, and thanks for the public endorsement.

Only wish we could figure out how to light a little more of a fire under the bureaucrats at immigration so they will move faster.

Wow, is it possible to go even faster?
As compared to U.S.A. it doesn't sound too 'bureaucratic' . A Russian postdoc who used to work with me ,paid I think 4K per family member to his lawyer and it was relatively fast, so he got his green card within a year or so, after tons and tons of paperwork (like 10 or 12 letters of recommendation from other scientist saying that he was the most awesome scientist around).

But well, being such a small and unknown country I guess it should be way easier here, plus the number of applications must be fairly low.

I am just curious.
