hello - I'm new

Postby Salvador » Thu Aug 26, 2010 9:20 pm

Hi I'm new to this forum - I am English and have recently moved to Chile

I am actually born to Chilean parents but I was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne in the UK
and lived all my life mostly in the north of the UK - uni in Leeds and worked in Leeds

then a year ago I decided to come to Chile - as my family had all moved here

for the last year I have been running my site (I run an online electronic music magazine) and getting on with living in the lovely countryside just outside Rancagua

so - after a few ups and downs and rounds and rounds (people love going round in circles here, and everything is truly tomorrow... if at all) I am deciding if I stay in Chile or return back to Europe

I have dual citizenship - Chilean and UK (Euro)

I am fluent in spoken and read Spanish, my written is a little slow, but that is mainly down to practice

I am an internet loving music journalist that would love to meet some more gringos and chat some stuff... still I came across this board and have read a few of the posts and they have been pretty interesting and very useful - so all good there and I just wanted to say hello :alien: :thumright:

hope all is good in each and everyone of your lives today :)

Hi Salvador,

Seems we have a few things in common. I spent 8 years in Durham, near Newcastle, my mother is from near Leeds, my wife is a musician and we've spent the last 9 years in Chile, though we're both British. Hope you stick around...

Cheers,

James.
