bullish on Chile?

If yes, then maybe this etf would be interesting ... http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=ech . I did not know there was a chile eft until a short time ago and for those, like me, that does not have a local brokerage account and hence are limited to the adr's this may be an interesting vehicle.

There is also a Chile Fund traded on the NYC, can not recall the name of it right on hand. It pays a div as I recall. There are pile of companies however that are partial plays on Chile, such as the mining companies, wine, and so on.

In Chile (or by ADR), for those here, I would go after:

Lan

Sodimac. I never walk out of the sucker without spending at least 100,000 pesos, and have never had a complaint about their service Can not say the same about Easy. I almost always walk out of their store emptyhanded.

Turbus

Mostly because those are companies that at least from my on the ground perspective are doing things right.

Wine. Can not go wrong with wine. I am super long in wine stock. As long as I keep the temp right, they always pay.

I would choose Pullman over Turbus. I bet you the reason Turbus is running so many cut rate offers is because the patient chilenos got fed up with their customer service or lack of. I still have yet to see proof that they are owned by the same entity or family. If they are, Pullman still deserves my funds over their supposed sister operation.

While I am bullish on Chile, but another way to look at the chart is that you have a rising wedge on declining volume on the daily chart. Still, I don't think in the immediate future it breaks down very far, and I will be watching for a possible buying opportunity.
