I entered chile with tourist VISA plus job offer from INIA research center. once i reached, applied for work perit VISA. that has been processed in a week time and recieved a paer document for two years.

Then i applied foe residence VISA. my god it should have been processed by this time but still in process. even that lady in the office don,t know anything about the status. she con,t even track where is the application. i don,t understand sometimes what kind of system is.

For getting RUT no. residence VISA is a must. then what kind of leagal safty is this to forigners here.

This is serious issue for people like me.

Please somebody can answer and address this isuues to take appropiate steps in future.
