This is just a wall in the Cochiguaz Valley. And someone lives there.

Cochiguaz Valley (Valle del Río Cochiguaz) is located in the area of Valle del Elqui.

This "someone" must have emptied all those bottles...

This is just a small house in the Cochiguaz Valley area. Note: none of the windows has glass.

Very nice...
But, in the winter... and with the wind... and with the rain...

This is a "pyramid tent" (I don't know for what kind of business) on some private property in the Cochiguaz Valley area.

This is a group of some weird pyramidal objects (again, I don't know for what kind of business) on a private property in the Cochiguaz Valley.

Sai Baba... :D
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sai_Baba_of_Shirdi
Sai Baba of Shirdi (1830's – October 15, 1918), also known as Shirdi Sai Baba (Marathi: शिर्डी साई बाबा), was an Indian guru, yogi and fakir who is regarded by his Hindu and Muslim devotees as a saint. Some Hindu followers have recently claimed that he was an incarnation of Shiva or Dattatreya, which has helped them to accommodate him in traditional Hindu worship. Many devotees believe that he was a Sadguru. There are many stories and eyewitness accounts of miracles he performed. He is a well-known figure in many parts of the world, but especially in India, where he is much revered.

Beautiful pictures Rune, considering it is the dead of Winter down there. :D If you need a nice place to stay after a night on the town, consider the Hostel donde Rita in Vicuña. Rita Klamt is one of the nicest people I've met.
