The meeting is Saturday July 24 at 4:30 in University Santo Tomas on Rodriguez 60. Here's the info:

I'm Jonathan, from Agrupación Protectora Canes y Felinos, working with stray animals. I hope you remember me.
Well I hope you have been doing fine these months. We have had tons of work and have managed to improve the functioning of this Organization; in fact, these past months we have been working to turn the legal concept from a Community Organization to an NGO, which will help us develop a much orderly and professional work.

I forward you the general information about the initial meeting to inform what the performance of the Agrupación had been so far and to present new lines to project our work in the future.
I invite you personally, because when we met I could see how important this work is for you and how seriously you take it. Besides, it is important to add different points of view and ideas, which you have from your experience in the United States.

I hope you can make it, at least so we can speak, it is not necessary that you join. Everyone interested in helping strays is welcome, especially if they work from the heart.

Como ustedes ya saben, la directiva de esta Agrupación lleva algún tiempo trabajando en base a una esperanza, la de poder crear mayor conciencia y compromiso en la comunidad además de poder esterilizar y generar mejores instancias para la atención de nuestros hermanitos menores, es decir, crear una institución seria, estable y permanente en el tiempo que continúe brindando mayor y mejor protección y amparo a nuestros pequeños.

Ahora estamos a punto de dar un importante paso para cumplir este sueño y sólo lo lograremos con el compromiso de todos y cada uno de nosotros; es por esto que tenemos el agrado de invitarlos a la Asamblea Constitutiva que nos permitirá transformarnos en Corporación sin fines de lucro, a realizarse el día sábado 24 de julio de 2010, a las 4:30PM en el Auditorio de la Universidad Santo Tomás (Manuel Rodríguez 060, Temuco).

El programa de este evento incluye:

- Presentación del trabajo realizado hasta la actualidad por la Agrupación.
- Informe sobre Balance Económico de la Agrupación.
- Proyección de líneas de trabajo
- Presentación de ventajas comparativas entre la figura de Organización
Comunitaria y la de Corporación
- Lectura de nuevos Estatutos y validación por parte del Ministro de Fe
- Breve Cocktail
