Yes, I'm pleased you managed to rescue him from customs and hope that he hasn't lost or broken any more body parts. I assume he wasn't too traumatised by his ordeal and will be back to playing his guitar very soon.

Foreigners should be adviced to avoid bringing biological materials to Chile, either alive or dead, given we are a country that depends on agriculture... Any fruit, pet or biological piece could bring some plage that destroy one of our exporting produce.

That's why you suffered that.
