Hi everyone:

We all know how challenging it can be to find a good doctor, dentist or other practitioner in Santiago who speaks good English and is great with children. Well, the lovely Dr Claudia Trewik from Clinica Odontologica el Golf, located at Don Carlos 2939, Oficina 407, is offering a FREE dental check up and lesson in the importance of oral hygiene (in English) for expat children on Wednesday 26thMay.

To take advantage of this great opportunity, call her secretary on 234 0840 to arrange a suitable time to visit on the 26th.

I know this is a bit of advertising, but I actually bring my kids to Claudia and trust her with my boys. And yes we will be there on Wednesday. Its free and it is a great experience for kids.

I have found that here in Chile dental hygiene is not as big of a deal as it is in the States. Heck my mom had us at the dentist every 6 months.

Claudia is also great for those of you like me, who do not speak Spanish very well. Yeah I know after 8 years I should be fluent, I'm working it She has a full clinic and can handle just about any dental problem in office.

any news on the dentist seeing adults?

I haven't been yet (naughty, I know!), but I have since found out that it is a family clinic, so do cater for adults too.

I called Claudia Trewik's office and was told she only saw children... is this the same place you posted the link to Tombi? We need a dentist for the whole family however have a consult w/ Trewik for this Saturday.
