Registered mail involves tracking, and recording it and tracking it involves time. So, why bother?
They need more time for the "registered" mail delivery?
That's fine, when my tracking history is *recorded*, like this one (that was sent by "registered" about 2 months ago).
The correos part:
http://courier.correos.cl/Seguimiento/aspx/Default.aspx
Ingreso ~ ADMITIDO PLANTA ~ TEMUCO ~ DAY # 1
Clasificación ~ CLASIFICADO PLANTA ~ TEMUCO ~ DAY # 1
Distribución ~ RECEPCIONADO EN CENTRO TECNOLOGICO POSTAL ~ DAY # 2
The usps part:
http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm

But, if they (correos/usps) have no records at all?.. And that is for 17 days?.. That's what I mean..
