I am upgrading to iPhone 4S this week and wanted to give my old 3 away to someone who uses prepaid. She only wants to make phone calls, text and use it as an iPod. Can she simply stick the prepaid sim in, or do we have to unlock/jailbreak or whatever? She can get prepaid with the same carrier I used, if this makes it any simpler.

I know, I changed from BB to iPhone just over 18 months ago and didn´t love the iPhone as much as I thought I would. I considered going back to BB, but was convinced by our IT guy that the iPhone 4S is a huge improvement and that for my purposes it would be a good choice. I´m still uhhming and ahhing a bit. He hates the touch keyboard and the battery life, but thinks that for most other stuff it is great.

if you type alot, and long emails, get a BB, or a Android with keyboard.... if you dont type much then consider the iphone, thats what it comes down too in my choices, i would like to type more on my galaxy, but its a pain in the #$%& so i just dont reply to emails like i should!,
