Netflix streaming coming to Chile.
As I am in Mexico now, and was told by Netflix that my subscription would work here in September, I find it annoying that Mexico won't get streaming till December, but at least when I get to Chile it should be up and running; um, streaming.
Why wait? Purchase a VPN from http://www.strongvpn.com/ and access you Netflix subscription from anywhere. I've been doin' it in Chile for months with no problems.

@swdchile: no speed issues with your VPN? We have one on one of our laptops and it tends to be very slow w/certain applications.
Re: Netlix - I thought I read in the Wall Street Journal that Netflix debuts in Chile early September, approx 4000 pesos /month?

The service is fabulous and I use it on my iPad/iPhone/computers and can connect to things like HBO Go/Hulu/Netflix/Pandora .... https://www.goldenfrog.com/vyprvpn/vpn-service-provider
