I am working in the Universidad de Chile as Postdoctoral Researcher and receive my wages every month and submit boletas de honorarios with 10% Impuestos Retenido, which is Tax Deduction at Source (TDS). I am copying only the relevant portion of boleta electronica of SII.

I am worried that I have to present the following for applying for the Visa Permanencia Definitiva as PROFESIONAL O TECNICO A HONORARIOS:

• Fotocopia de Iniciación de actividades.
• Fotocopia de las boletas de honorarios emitidas los últimos tres meses.
• Copia de la última declaración anual de impuestos.

I have the first two, but not the third one, i.e. declaración anual de impuestos, which is Annual Declaration of Taxes.

In my case, I think I should receive a document from/through the university, which I can present with my application.

What should I ask from my employer, i.e. the university in case they do not give anything to me?

You might want to contact Charles about that. He, as well as a few others, can help you with that question. Also, run a search on the site to see if other threads have dealt with your question(s). Many times people here with exerience will not answer a question that has been asked multiple times. Sorry I can't be any more help.

I believe you can just logon to the SII web site and get a copy, or go to the their office and request one (they tend to just send you to a computer station in their office anyway to print one out).
