I am just about to start a course to join the Merchant Navy here in Chile.
But, I am a bit scepticle because it seems that everything here seems to work with "Bidoto", which means that you need a contact to get work on board a ship.
I don't agree with this way of thinking because it doesnt give many people a chance who have good skills a job.

I am doing the course of Tripulante de Cubierta. Does anyone have any good ideas for me?
