That was a strong reminder of the big one... was back on the floor when it started moving and didn't stop, the building cracking and shaking... damn these movements get old!

7 mercalli or richter? That was a big one. Stuff in our kitchen cabinets started falling out again, except I got there in time to stop them. Then there were 4 or 5 little aftershocks of the aftershock right afterwards. Oops, nevermind I see now it's a 7.2 on the richter. Lord above.

I was in a taxi when it reached Temuco, and we had a 18 wheeler next to us at the light so we just thought it was the semi truck causing it.

At this moment, traffic has picked up on the road up the hill, I am located along one of the main tsunami evacuation routes.

Pinera just asked everyone to stay where they are at on high ground for now. They are evacuating the congress in valpo where the transfer of power just happened moments ago.
