Why do you say spooky? I'm not convinced that the worst is over in Santiago :-/

There seems to be less near the 8th region now, and it is sort of like Chile is resettling around the edges with santiago to the north and lagos to the south at almost the same time.

those two little shakers last night were nothing to worry about.....a little bit more than what you feel if you are unfortunate enough to have a house near some train tracks....

They were not big. The aftershocks we get from the 7th and 8th region are normally in the 5.0 and up range. Normally a large truck passing by seems to generate more shake.

It is encouraging that the aftershocks do seem to be progressively settling down. We are still getting some good ones, but nothing that anyone gets up from their desk for.
