By the way, I never give out my mother's maiden name because there are thousands of databases created over the years (mostly by credit card companies and banks in the 80's), where that name is used as some sort security pass key without most people's consent. It is a huge security risk to ever use it for anything, yet in the United States they continue to use in those legacy systems as some sort of verification of your identity when you call for whatever.

Just say that he has only one surname, Helen. If he didn't give a second one, it can't possibly help Western Union to find the money... I generally don't run into problems in Chile when I answer that.

Chile use to use 7 names believe it or not.

Only having one, is not that much of stretch.

I filled it out with Charles as the name, Spencer as the paternal name, and no additional information. Be aware that you will probably have to call them after you send the money. It will come up as the next screen. Simply call them with the info they send on that screen. They then call you back. to confirm. interesting.
Charles tell me that mine is waiting, so I guess it worked.

I got a similar run around. The phone number I gave them is listed as my business. They are using a 3rd party verification for the phone number. When I told the lady that the phone was listed under my besiness name and gave the name to her, she proceeded to process it. It is a very wierd experience, but all of your phone answers must match the ones asked, and if the phone is not in your name, you need to tell them that.

Did all that, they even verified my CC with my bank (USAA) and I thought we were done when I got a denial notice.
