Tsunami alert in Concepción. They are evacuating the coastal areas. News is just breaking. Will return when I know more.

This is not over.

6.3 earthquake in the 8th region, the entire coast is under warning and being evacuated, reported by TVN live right now.

watching the evacuation of constitucion on TVN. get out of concepcion, constitucion, or any coastal town NOW!

I think this is the quake, we felt good shake about this time in Temuco for about 20 seconds.

This is a false alarm. The government just said there is not alert, but they are evacuating Concepción anyway.

The communication screw-ups are piling up with this government.

well I hope no one was injured during the evacuation. And better safe than sorry is what I always say.
