Silvana's family is in Concepción and we need to go there on Thursday.
Can anybody give us an update on the situation with the bombas de bencina.
I only have a range of 450km with my Subaru and therefore need gas somewhere south of Talca to get to Conce and back to a bomba next week.
Can anybody who has traveled on Ruta 5 tell us if we get fuel somewhere south of Rancagua?

There has got to be fuel on that highway with all the relief traffic moving south.

I don't know if you are in a position to help, but we are looking for a ride for someone heading down to search for one of our forum members near dichato. They just need to make it as far as concepcion.

i drove the reverse route on tuesday. from santiago to talce there is plenty of gas available...but the lines are long. as you get closer to concepcion, gas will get harder to find, so fill up in talca. if you happen to have a car that uses diesel. you will have a much easier time getting fuel.
