Hi everyone. I have a brother-in-law & sister-in-law in Ensenada. It is not unusual to NOT hear from them as they do not have a cell phone nor internet access. However, his family had thought they would seek out internet to up date us all here in the US. Does anyone know if they are far enough south that they would not have suffered any damage? Any insight is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks.

Would that be Jim & Irina by chance ?

If so then they're a long way from the quake area.

Hi Chile Bob,

YES, it is Jim & Irina!! We have not heard from them and all 5 of his siblings and his mother have been worrying. We knew they were a long ways away, but not being there and the just plain not knowing has been killing us.

UPDATE: All is OK, email received from them

I've sent a text message to Irina's cellphone asking them to contact family & check email etc - hopefully that'll work.
