Power finally returned about 30 minutes ago.
They are now allowing cars in groups with pilot vehicle to cross the Lo Gallardo bridge connecting Santo Domingo to Llolleo-San Antonio till about 8 at night.
The port is back in operation more or less and ships waiting offshore are slowly being processed.
Lots of damage to homes in the poblaciones that is incalculable at the moment.
There were homes that got washed away and about 7 accounted for and recovered bodies from the local maremoto that occurred minutes after the earthquake.
They say it was 8.2 here.
My losses were only most of my dishes, recuerdos and the toilet in one of the bathrooms came off the floor.
The departamento was without water for a day and power for almost 6 days.
My pareja was working in the restaurant in Santiago at the time and she and her daughters are fine.
My supplies from nonperishable food to booze to camping/backpacking and battery operated hardware (with ample batteries) and quick thinking in filling up my tubs after the quake made the next days less stressful.
Regards in trying circumstances,
