Moving to Concepcion

Postby Kristina S » Thu Feb 25, 2010 10:56 pm

Hi!

I am Kristina, 32 and we are a family of 4 who just moved here to Concepcion from Finland.
Currently we live in the city, but we´ll soon be moving to San Pedro de la Paz.
I speak 4 languages fluently, but no spanish, so it's been quite hard to get things done especially with the kids, since almost none speaks a foreign language. Therefore, would any one of you guys know any good language school here in Concepcion? Or would anyone just want to have a coffee with me sometime?

Best Regards,

Kristina

I am not sure if it is still around, but there use to be a cafe in concepcion where all the gringos in town would meet for coffee in the morning. Someone mentioned it on the forum a long long time ago.

Kristina,
I'm in Concepcion until December 2011. I'm also looking for a language school. Are you still interested in coffee?

I work in Concepcion and I live in a small town up the coast about 40 km. I'll ask around about the language school. Coffee is a good idea, too. I always enjoy meeting new people.

Hola!
I live in Concepcion for one year now but never heard of the coffee shop where gringos meet... I have a friend who recommand Norteamericano for a language school.
