Tiger people are sensitive, given to deep thinking, capable of great sympathy.
They can be extremely short-tempered, however.
Other people have great respect for them, but sometimes tiger people come into conflict with older people or those in authority.
Sometimes Tiger people cannot make up their minds, which can result in a poor, hasty decision or a sound decision arrived at too late.
They are suspicious of others, but they are courageous and powerful.
Tigers are most compatible with Horses, Dragons, and Dogs

Just for a perspective...
My Tiger friends are not doing so well :(

BTW... Our puma (cougar) friends
are doing much better
throughout Chile (and Argentina)

Nearly half of the world celebrated with China the start of the Year of The Tiger, while almost the other half enjoyed parties, exchanged presents on Saint Valentine’s Day and danced in carnivals. But probably a few thought that very day, Feb. 14, that tigers have practically disappeared from the face of Earth.

In fact, on the eve of the celebrations around the globe, the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) reported that there are only some 3,200 tigers left in the wild, and they face increasing threats including habitat loss, illegal trade and climate change.

“Tigers are being persecuted across their range -- poisoned, trapped, snared, shot and squeezed out of their homes,” said Mike Baltzer, leader of WWF’s Tiger Initiative.

The huge dimension of the tigers’ tragedy is underlined by the fact that the number of tigers in the wild amounted to some 100,000 at the early 1900s, in particular in the 13 biggest tiger range countries.

These are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma (or Myanmar), Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Russia, Thailand and Vietnam.
