I thought I'd throw this Q out to folks living in this area that know the land a bit better than I. I've been checking out some terrain around Vina, especially outside of Con Con and to the north (3km or so from the "rotonda con-con". We are looking for a small chunk of land above sea level with a view and access to water, electric, etc. Also not too terribly far from super markets and THE BEACH. We want to buy the land for building later. Recommendations for areas to look and not to look? I'm pretty clueless beyond the limits of Santiago unfortunately. We're going to plan a long weekend out to Vina area in March possibly to check it out in more detail but I'd appreciate it if you could give us places to start

Hi - I visited with the family of a friend of mine in Renaca (it is an enye "n") - they had what seemed to be a couple of acres and a nice modest house and I really liked the area A LOT! That might be worth looking at - you might find some really good value for your money there. Good luck!
