•• I never did figure out what that nightly "satellite" so far in the southern hemisphere sky was.
•• I recounted more than once the blood-curdling SCREAM-ROAR of a Chupacabra here around 4:30 am in the morning clearly heard by both me and my pareja literally below our window as we readied to go on a trip (reason why we were up that hour). Again, this was at a time when there was a series of media publicized chicken coop massacres in the area.
•• When we were scouting for a place on the coast we were stuck in San Antonio one night as all the buses leaving that evening were full. We had to beg for a low rate at this very old, apparently unoccupied, rundown, sprawling place, now closed on calle 25 de Mayo. Throughout the night, things like our plastic bags would fly up without any apparent air current reason, the TV control flew off the nightstand to the floor and the TV activated itself at around 6 am (perhaps this was a TV timer "joke" by the maid or other staffer?).
•• I recall the strange warbling sounds I heard in the sterile manicured bushes of the condo I moved into that jumped tens of meters in an instant to the next manicured bush which no one else seemed to hear or notice. My landlady, a lifelong resident of the area, mumbled something about brujas when I mentioned it. After two weeks, I no longer heard it just like everyone else.
•• There is the wacky story my landlady (lives in the same building 6 floors above) has of an OVNI she and two other persons with her witnessed that rose out of the ocean and flew directly towards and over the apartment complex I now live in.

•• Back in Santiago, I lived across the street from one of the preserved casas of Quintrala. I previously recounted the huge fire I witnessed next to it that left it untouched and the murdered man with blood flowing from his head on the historical cobblestone pavement in front of the iron gate entrance one 4 am-ish morning when I was escorting my pareja back to my apartment after her shift.
