Re: Business Idea If You Have Green Thumb

This discussion is not useless. Chinese exports are ubiquitous. We also care more than before about circumstances surrounding the products we purchase even if the products are fine.
We watch action movies that have a disclaimer stating no animals were hurt during filming, we care that our soccer balls are not produced by young children and we care about the outside activities of our professional athletes.
Tiger Woods is losing endorsements daily, Michael Vick lost his freedom and lots of money due to his promotion of dog fighting.
We have the luxury of insisting the products we buy are produced to our standards by like minded people.
Sorry for going so far off topic.

Yes, this verse, that comes out of China, is pure poison, indeed. :)

It is a comment on the Case 19, "Ordinary Mind Is the Way", from "The Gateless Gate" (Chin: Wu-wen kuan; Jap: Mumonkan). The author is Chinese Ch'an master Wu-men Hui-hai (Mumon Ekai, 1183-1260).

May I address it to the "TV health doctor", and also to all followers of the "Way of the Listener to TV Health Doctors".

And, here is the "Case 19":
Jõshû asked Nansen, "What is the Way?"

"Ordinary mind is the Way," Nansen replied.

"Shall I try to seek after it?" Jõshû asked.

"If you try for it, you will become separated from it," responded Nansen.

"How can I know the Way unless I try for it?" persisted Jõshû.

Nansen said, "The Way is not a matter of knowing or not knowing.

Knowing is delusion; not knowing is confusion.

When you have really reached the true Way beyond doubt, you will find it as vast and boundless as outer space.

How can it be talked about on the level of right and wrong?"

With these words, Jõshû came to a sudden realization.
"Every horse has its stable,
every beast its pen,
every bird its nest.
And God knows best."

Earthwalker, thanks for that one. I'll be sure to steer clear of China! (oink)
