But.. Arguing with any article, whether scientific, "pseudo-scientific", or not, in it's entirety it's ridiculous.. :alien:

Just because of the number of different 'statements' contained therein. Though some of these 'statements' maybe pure BS, it's [sometimes] possible that some other thoughts, or at least one, may be not such a BS.

BINGO! Would you like some mercury, formaldehyde, unknown misc. organic and chemo fragments with your Big Pharma vaccine? Would this gun to your head help you make the correct decision?

I do appreciate EE.UU.'s sense of humor! I only regret that the truth underlying his comment is anything but humorous.

We found out that Temuco is essentially out of flu vaccine today. We had to do a lot of calling around to track down 6 doses for our staff at the office, and there was only one pharmacy in town that still had it. The front page of the local paper today reported an 80% increase in vaccination.

As it was previously suggested by "JARobin", "be your own doctor" { :alien: } would probably be a good solution to any health problem.

Be your own doctor?.. Can I?..

Assuming you have 'knowledge', 'experience', 'vision', 'insight', 'scientific background', 'mystical powers', or a 'magical elixir', then you may "be your own doctor", right? But.. Are all these things real? Are you absolutely sure you have any of these? Really? Or maybe your 'knowledge' is based just on a small piece of bullshit?

No matter how scientific or "pseudo-scientific", or how "magical" our "knowledge" is, or seems to be, are there any tools that would allow us to see if this is the "absolutely true knowledge", or we just have another set of illusions?

Ok, those who possess the said tools, please, "be your own doctor". But, again.. Are these tools real? Are you absolutely sure? Or maybe it's just new piece of bullshit?

What then? What to do??..

Well, I'll tell you: "Be your own doctor!"

How else?..... :)

The man who wrote the article is a medical doctor. Many people are questioning this flu because of the unique nature of human, swine and bird flu strains in it. It's is more something that would be manufactured, rather than evolving naturally.

I simply added the link here because it's always good to look at something from various perspectives, rather than what is being presented to us from the established media.

Open mindedness, sure. But you can learn nothing from complete drivel, which that link was...I take that back. You can learn that the guy that wrote it needs to up his meds. As far as him being a "medical doctor", he's not a licensed physician, and who knows if he actually went to medical school, since he claims it was overseas. The nutball ran for President of the US a number of times and appears to be nothing more than somebody who experimented with drugs in the 70s came out on the short end of the stick.

When the poster further stated that the said fear can be manipulative, the poster again communicated what they thought with regards to the fear, and whether or not this fear can be manipulative, and again, nothing but that.

Are you arguing with the nonsense in that article, or with the poster, señora "Anani", who just used a statement from the article?.. :)

If all she wanted to do was to state that fear can be manipulative, that's all she had to say, not by linking the article, unless she actually gives some credence to what "Da Vid" is saying . The irony of the situation is that idiot on that site uses just that, fear, to promote his own silliness.

Here is the informal fallacy being pushed: to be truly open minded means you have to stop engaging in critical thinking. In fact, it is very much the opposite. To be properly engaging in critical thinking, you need to be as charitable as possible ( place it in the best light) any opposing argument.

I am sorry, that is a rather old and tired means of manipulating people ( obviously still very effective ). Thus, my previous recommendation for those that might lack any formal training in logic or critical thinking.

Knowledge and truth does not exist in a vacuum.

But, may I have permission to learn everything from anything, please? When you hear a voice from toilet, and the said voice is reciting a wonderful poem, isn't it a good chance to learn a new concert of classical poetry?.. :alien:
