I would like to volunteer, but it seems that the volunteer positions are too far away from where I live, in Viña del Mar. Does anyone know of anything closer to me that I could get involved in? I am especially interested in human rights.

Jaci, there's a church in Quilpué (si recuerdo bien) which has a good record of helping others with both material, spiritual, and legal concerns. It's part of the IPNA ("Iglesia Prebiteriano NAcional" -- again, if I remember correctly -- the first non-Roman Christian denomination in Chile).
