The only issue that equally applies both to the Elqui valley, and the Maule valley, is noise. The noise produced by humans. The noise produced by their machines. And their idiotic pop music, that sometimes can be heard in a 3 - 5 km radius.

The only solution, I believe, is to place a community (or a temple, or whatever) in a location where something natural, maybe a hill, or a mountain, or a massive rock would block the sound.

If you live very close to the river, the sound of the river can block noise. But. What if you need silence?..

Admin wants to move the University of Higher Knowledge to the beautiful South. :)

David, if it rains tomorrow, your people should take their umbrellas. :)

If not, go South. :)

But. To qualify for their milk, you'll need to chant their mantra..

16 rounds a day for a glass of milk..

Where in Chile do I buy raw milk?..... :?

If you want to be alone with nature, go to the Patagonia South of Pumalin. I hear you can pick up Chaiten cheap right now.

And you may ask this guy, if there is a good weather in the Maule valley. :)

Rune, I think you mean clean raw milk? I don't think you can from what I have seen. You can get raw milk. You have to buy your own cow to get clean raw milk.

They have some nice Jersey cows in the south from what I have seen.

Find a SMALL dairy farm and knock on the door and find one who is willing to sell you some. You can spot them easily on the back roads of the lake district. There is a small sturdy table like structure by the road for putting the milk cans on, the pick up truck comes by once or twice daily with a couple of guys in the back and lifts them off and drops a clean container. Probably a good idea to have your own clean container.

What Helibel says is true enough. I did say you can get raw milk, but she expounded on that fact.

But I did emphasize clean raw milk. If you see how some of these farmers milk their cows, then you probably wouldn't want to buy any. There is a farmer next to us that we were thinking about getting milk from last year. We went over to see his milking operation. There is a longer story here, but we passed on the idea of buying from him. My Chilean vet says that's the usual case.

Another issue is the health of the cows that the milk comes from. Have they been tested for the various diseases?

So it comes down to an issue of knowing your farmer. :)

Materialistic people always get it backwards. It is not that we follow strict rules; that is an external view. Our process is that when one contacts Transcendence directly, the desire for material enjoyment automatically ceases by experiencing a higher taste of enjoyment. Trying to establish and follow rules always results in failure, because human will and intelligence are limited. Rather, we re-establish our original eternal relationship with God, and His power and love sustain and guide us.

Similarly, the impressions of the material world through the senses are always relative, because they are subject to the conditioning of time and temporary material qualities. Absolute Truth is present only beyond the senses in the spiritual realm, because only that which is eternal can be absolute. Really, this is elementary metaphysical philosophy. Maybe somebody is listening to too much pop music and sampling too much pista...

And perhaps I should clarify the reason for our presence on this forum. It is not to proselytize or win converts, but simply to get some practical information about our move to a new area of Chile. You will notice that all the (somewhat) philosophical topics have been raised by others. We have simply replied to their often rather inaccurate and somewhat xenophobic assertions. Real spiritual philosophy is very deep and takes a long time to understand.

Real tangible spiritual life of any standard of quality is very rare, and is not to be confused with the life of the senses or the mind. Perhaps one in 10,000 people is even capable of it, and even those require extensive personalized training to actually realize it. So we throw our net very wide on the Internet, and the people who do come to us usually find us, not the other way around. We have more students than we can personally handle, so there is a waiting list even for our online courses.

Personally, all we want is a quiet private spot that is pure, has good energy and where people will leave us alone. Actually we have found the general area already, and now are narrowing the search to a specific zone. We are not like ordinary people, who consider and do everything based on the narrow inputs of the senses. We have an active inner life, and that takes precedence over the externals. Our priorities were set a long time ago by our Teacher, and we see no reason to change them.

We thank the AllChile community for their help and support, and now wish you ciao as we go on to continue our mission.
