there is an old adage about "never let the truth interfere with a good story" These are words I live by

The NZ dairy consortium is not a secret in anyway. We had meetings with them and so did just about everyone else in Southern Chile that has some relation to our line of work back when they where shopping for land a couple of years ago. They had front page stories at the time in some of the local papers that they where shopping and going to invest here. Far from covert.

I remember in Guatemala one time talking with two 19 year old Israeli girls that just completed their service. They had watched two of their best friends killed just a few weeks before. Their tone was not that of any sort of revenge type mood. They where war veterans that where tired of war. I believe they come to Chile and Latin America for the same reason the Palestinians and everyone else comes here. They want some piece and quiet, and a place where they do not need to look over their shoulder.

Exactly. I had an encounter with some of these clown on De Anza Blvd. in Cupertino, CA in 2000. ' Art students.' Uh huh, yeah right. I knew something was fishy bout them but I couldn't put my finger on it. A couple years later after the FBI had 400 Israeli spies expelled from the USA, (which the US media ignored, mostly!) I put 2 and 2 together. They want to get into your house or business on the pretext of selling you pictures and helping to hang them in your house etc. Part of their mission is just basic recon, looking for info of possible intelligence value.


You can read stories online about the same 'off duty' IDF soldiers exploits in India. The Indians hate them. Ironic, the two biggest allies of Israel are where they spy the most.

Some would disagree when you include the dynamics of international military and political affairs.

But how about all those USA expats? Some I'm sure must be operating part or full-time as NSA/CIA/too-secret-to-name intelligence agency operatives. I'm not one but I'm sure others are ... to deny such a basic reality in the real-politik world would be naive.

BTW, many years ago there was a case I believe of USA stolen from Chile tech concerning some kind of special coating with military applications. Maybe the more long-termers can explain the alleged details,

And I remember reading on the forum an exchange between P and TomB regarding the destruction of an arms plant in North Chile many years ago alleged to be have done by US Special Forces.

400 Israeli spies were expelled from the USA, by the FBI. Not a peep in the MSM media after the story was buried.
