Px knows all, and sees all. He can "actually asses" someone from just a few clues. It's uncanny.
Fire for effect.

I am contemplating retirement (male, currently age 65) in the Vina/Valpo are of Chile in 2013. But I am planning an exploratory visit this October (2012) and would like to begin an email dialogue with an english speaking (US expat?) who has lived in Vina/Valpo for at least a year (ideally longer) that can give the straight scoop on making the transtion from the US (Charleston, SC) to Vina/Valpo or other desireable places in Chile to retire.
