The other thing to check is, does it really accept international cards or just Chilean cards.

Figure if you are selling something for say 6000 pesos, a more than fifth bank deposit into a Banco Estado Cuenta RUT account costs you 600 pesos - 10%. I know you are anti-PAPAL but unfortunately in high fee financial transaction Chile, this is a pretty good deal. Especially with ServiPag as a place to pay.

Just like Walmart, can't get away from those gigantic multinationals.

DeRemate = MercadoLibre = Ebay. PayPal owns Ebay. I would not be surprised if this is PayPal.

I will test this out in the next couple of weeks.

I have been happily using Google Checkout for over a year now. They don't stick their nose in my buisness, and try to micromanage my company. They process my clients credit cards, and stay out of the way.

Unfortunately I just got a notice that they are going to up the rates from 2% currently to as high as 4% (teared system based on previous months sales), plus a 1% charge when the buyer and seller are in different countries. Which hits my bottom line hard, because most of my clients are in some other country besides the States.

Before getting purchased by ML, I used to do transactions through Deremate.cl. Now the interface is broken thanks to mercadolibre. They also used to charge 5% as commission per sale, which I always paid through servipag to keep my account. As for sending the goods, what we use the most is turbus, por pagar. In most of the cases it's cheaper than chilexpress.
