In that list I posted there is an American school in Puerto Mont and a school in Temuco that emphasized INGLES. Both would be within a 2 hour bus ride from Pangapuille, You might actually see him on the weekend.
Look we brought an 6th grader to a remote offshore island of Puerto Rico. We did home schooling for 2 years and that was GOOD and BAD. Then the kid commuted by ferry and actually often by plane for several years ( he can tell his grand kids" when I was your age I had to fly to School").
I do have the picture and get the issues. they are huge.In making our decision we did fantastic private schools for the summer in the states (Phillips Exeter) and kept him nearby for the school year. Did we make the right decisions, I don't know. We can beat ourselves up every time he has a problem or a hiccup.

Hello,
Thanks for the points. Really good research! Yes I agree, as parents we have many difficult decisions for kids schooling especially in these times. Seems there are as many challenges as there are choices. Especially once you are an "international" family. Thanks :) CCD
