Because most of our clients are in the US where PayPal has 90% of the online payment market. I never even heard of Servipag.

PayPal accounts are allowed in Chile and they can even send a check to you in Chile.

As someone in the middle of researching payment options for both the net-savvy Chilean and the well-equipped with modern electronic financial tools gringo crowd, it is an option that should not be ignored. I am afraid of PayPal abuses to innocent account holder's though (research what admin has said and the net for other person's experiences with them).

For in-Chile payments, a BANCO ESTADO CUENTA RUT account may be the THING if you qualify for it. Any experiences out there with this account? Does anyone know if this account can do an overseas wire transfers?

The bags and their designs are of pretty good taste, and the theme of going green is also good. However, the timing of reviving this thread might not be as good: I saw that the presidential candidates have been passing out FREE bags with their names on for the past few weeks. Needless to say, the competition is fairly tough :D

Ahhhh T_Robo....so much for raising one's confidence! But never mind the candidates who are willing to give away their mothers for free just to get your attention  My bags are prettier and much more lasting than their candidacy so I'll be pushing forward to bring attention to the world. :alien:

The bags are lovely, and hey, look, it's not too late to ship Christmas presents to The States.

Shopping bags are all the rage, every store sells their own (unattractive) version. It would be a timely status symbol to appear in the local market with such a smart recyclable shopping bag.

Thank you Oregon. For what I understand here in Chile plastic bags will be available til next year and then by law we must bring our own when shopping at the supermarket. Many years ago, cotton shopping bags were not an issue as it is now but for those that would love to bring a chilean souvenir anywhere, this is an awesome choice as well as a contribution to the world we live today.

Does that mean Jumbo, Lider, and all the stores that now provide plastic bags, won't be doing so in the future (next year)? I have noticed that on bags from Jumbo they have printed on the bag "Bolsa 100% oxo-biodegradble REUTILIZA - RECICLA - RENACE".
