Address please? I like Soul of India but the na'an bread is not good. Info on other Indian restaurants is always welcome, especially as we have a babysitter next week and can go child free

Salaam Bombay

Este restaurant de comida hindú adaptó el sabor de esta especialidad para hacerla más amigable para el paladar de los chilenos: Se bajó el nivel de especias en un 60. Es decir, si un plato original presenta un nivel de 100, la "adaptación" tiene 40.

Salaam Bombay. Not good at all. We were really disappointed with the food and the service,so The Soul of India is definitely still top of the list.
I can understand why Chileans aren't bothered about Indian food when these restaurants are the only example of it. :(

I just had Steak Satay at an Indian restaurant here in Antofagasta.. I asked for the spiciest (level 4) and it came with no spice at all...none, nada, zip. Whataya got to do to get spicy food here?

We went to Rishtedar on Saturday evening and were pleasantly surprised. Very tasty and creamy chicken curry and excellent naan bread. For me Majestic is still the best option, but I think Rishtedar just about beats Soul of India for second place.

I made epic chutney (the proper fruity, spicy, sweet and sour stuff like my grandma made!) yesterday. Next week I'm cooking bobotie (sweet curry) for my friends. Yay!

Sounds good. My sweet chilli jam turned out great as well, so I was pleased with that. I found a recipe for bobotie the other day, never tried it but it sounds lovely. :D

That is funny because some of our chilean friends recommended we go there tonight! It is very close to where we live so I think we will be trying it very soon :) I was also happy to see the post about an Indian grocery store, fabo!
