Does anyone know what the best place to cash traveller's cheques is? The best in terms of fees and overall convenience.
Also, is there a limit on how much in traveller's cheques you can bring into the country? Thanks!

Not sure about american express. Not a lot of american express anywhere in Chile. Visa travelers checks might be more useful. Banks I suspect mostly would be the only ones to cash them. In general I think they are waist of time and money in Chile. You are better off with ATM cards overall. In many ways, an ATM card is better than cash U.S. dollars because of the lower exchange rate fees and wider acceptance.
