April Voltage Change Survey

Postby eeuunikkeiexpat on Thu Apr 03, 2008 6:26 pm

dancingmolly on TripAdvisor reports that the voltage in Santiago (I believe she lives somewhere deep in the cuica east side) measures at 210.

I just used my volt meter and received a reading of 230V, so no change here yet.

Any other reports from 'round the pais?

I just measured 230v here in Arica, but varies depending on day/hour, sometimes I have measured up 200v. However it seems electricity authority realized that It was not so eo effective in terms of energy efficiency.

I just stuck my finger in the light socket, and I don't know what the voltage is but it hurt like hell. Is that any help?
