Tony I am sorry to hear that. Yeah I heard that there are a number of other strikes going on.

Are you planning to teach in Temuco like you are/were doing?

Yeh I hope to do the same.. I have asked to be put in contact with the coordinator for Temuco so hopefully I can continue.. otherwise its back on the couch!.. I think my wife will be looking for work in Temuco (she recently has finished her studies).. which means I'll be home on my own.. so it's either do something i love or stay at home and do household chores ( which i detest) or slack off and get told off for not doing anything (which is likely).. as u can see I would rather be doing something and avoid any conflicts with my wife.. these Chilean women can be quite feisty when their expectations aren't met.. haha

I went to my school website but it doesn't provide much of that I want to know the names of my classmates =(, I'm feeling pretty nostalgic right now, I want to GET in contact with THEM, I need a Chilean DIRECTORY =DDFADFKJ

HELP PLZZ

Hey Tony, quick question...when did EOD give you further information about your city and family? I'm leaving for the four-month program at the end of July and am just getting curious!

Thanks!

ewinkowski,

I am not in the program full-time. I am just a part-time volunteer. I did not come to Chile to teach English, instead I was in Chile and decided to do something with my spare time and teaching English happens to be it. I don't actually know how the whole program operates and how/when they provide you with the information you're asking for. Sorry I couldn't be of much help. Perhaps sending the coordinators in Santiago an email will yield more useful/accurate answers.

Their emails are;--- jessica.holt(AT)mineduc.cl ----- jimmy.kuka(AT)mineduc.cl ------ clayton.harrington(AT)mineduc.cl
