safe and secure possibility to keep valuables in santiago

hello!

i am going to study in santiago de chile but before that i want to travel for a few days. the only prblem that i have is that i don't know where to leave my valuables such as notebook and harddisk.
does anyone know any possibility, maybe some safes in hotels or at stations? i would be so glad because i'm going soon and it's urgent.
