Hi
I'm visiting a male friend in Santiago, for a month April/May, I've got lots of things to ask, but not sure he will be that aware.
What sort of clothes will I need, t shirts/jumpers, will I need a coat, or will it be warm enough. Do people dress up of a night to go out.
Will I be able to charge razor, use my hair straightners.
I know they are silly things but I really need to know!

Thanks if anyone can help

Hi Sandi,in April/ May the begining of Fall, is already cooling off in Santiago but still pleasant enough for some t shirts. No need for a coat but a jacket would make you more comfortable on those cool nights.
Dressing up for a night out is up to the individual. Personally I enjoy wearing something different when I go out and most chilean women are very classy. They will be "checking" you out from a corner of their eye (he he).
European electricity is comparable to Chile's electricity, so I don't think you'll have any problems.
I'll be arriving there probably on the same months you are. Enjoy your stay!

Thanks for reply, will jeans for day be ok, it won't be too warm?
I have this fear of taking all the wrong clothes.
I shall take some evening wear now though.

Yes, take with you some jeans ( no, it won't be too warm, the temperature will be changing by then ) and dressy pants as well as " the little black dress". Don't bring a whole wardrobe (more weight to carry) but " mix & match sets" should be sufficient, some silk scarves will get you far.
