When Martial Law is declared in the U.S.?

There are a lot more potential scenarios than that. It could be the subject of its own thread.

Thought a few of you might enjoy this. For those who have shorter attention spans, scroll to the last three paragraphs, that pretty much sums it up.

@MikieO- the link you provided is inspiring; however, not to sound fatalistic - I can't help but think how these good people, so very few in number, can possibly survive against the monstrous US M.I.C., complete with bio weapons and other wmd's that they will use against the people to stay in power. IOW, do they really understand what they are up against?
And then there is this new technology, unleashed on the US populace as we speak:
The Empire Strikes Back: Attack of the Drones
“There’s no stopping this technology. Anybody who thinks they can put this genie back in the box – that’s silliness.”

@Mr. Hyre - also an inspiring article. I saw it via a link on Lew Rockwell. Great speech, but I'm even more interested to know the feedback he received from the audience. I hope Mr. Wenzel follows up soon to that effect.

My god, Socialism, we are all going to DIE, DIE, DIE!!!!

Not one of them would use the word. They talk endlessly around it, but would not use the word.

I am not talking about socialism in the fluffy, flaky, kids with the che t-shirts talk about it. Nor am I talking about socialism as a less shocking form of the word communism.

I am talking about socialism as a form of political and economic equality.

Still, all these Nobel winning economist do lip service to the idea that money should not buy votes or political influence, but none of them will touch the sacred cow of corporatism that runs the world. Disenfranchise the corporations, and you fix what is wrong with capitalism. Companies, regardless if you are shareholder, are also the property of society. A license is granted by society for them to exist, and operate. Well, they also should have the threat of having that license cancelled.

They are not humans, they do not have a right to vote. Regardless if that is at the polling station, or lobbying politicians. Corporations should remain private, but also pay more than their fair share of taxes. In fact, I would be inclined to see personal income tax eliminated completely around the World, and only companies pay income tax. It would perhaps motivate them to either push their money to their shareholders or invest it in real investments. Not sit on a pile of cash forever, pumping up their stock price. In fact, don't give them the option. They either invest, distribute as dividend to the shareholders (individual people), or pay it in taxes. Push that capital back in to the market and make it work for society.

The idea that people are not spending or the government is not spending is bs. It is corporations that are not spending. They are sitting on massive piles of cash. Put the screws to them politically and make them spend.
